This building, on the corner of Tudor Road and Greyfriars Road, is known to have been a pub since at least 1868 and has been called the Tudor Arms and the Malthouse over the years. It was closed and boarded up between 2011 and 2014 but happily reopened with its current name serving a good selection of cask ales. The pub is convenient for Reading station.
