A view, on a rather dull day, of the direction sign/fingerpost at the junction of Cockshot Lane and Hollin Busk Lane. In 2011 the local authority erected several replica fingerposts in this area all with a location and 6 figure Grid Reference on the halo. And this was one of them. The originals, with a name and a 6 figure Grid Reference on the halo, were set up throughout the West Riding in the late 1920s. Dorset was the other area to have similar Grid Ref halos authorised at that time.
