The Dredger Wyre Sands moored at Eyemouth Harbour

This giant dredger was moored in the harbour opposite Gunsgreen House. It is named Wyre Sands and was built in 1997. It’s a hopper dredger with a 35-tonne long-reach excavator and can dredge depths of up to 10m. For more info see https://www.wyremarineservices.co.uk/fleet-and-equipment.
