This village pump appears to be disused. On the railings is a plaque listing the WWII evacuees who were placed here. The text reads: In recognition of the evacuees placed in the Parish of Blithfield during the Second World War Raymond Barker George Nye Gill Bayton Ivy Nye Maxwell Bayton Margaret Nye Joan Cashford Walter Nye Ken Maple Jean O'Clee Rita McKeen Nancy O'Clee Fred McMara Arthur Page Doreen Mills Joyce Payne Jean Mills More information about evacuees to Staffordshire can be found at www.childrenonthemove.org.uk/.
