This apparently won an architectural award. There were always tales of it being built on quicksand or shedding its windows. One or two students threw themselves off it - with the predictable consequence. It also housed a paternoster lift. It now seems to be subject to a very intensive renovation and has been urban explored and reported on 28 days later. Love it or hate it - it's a very impressive lump.
