A view of the B3351 road on the Isle of Purbeck. The road runs along the north side of a ridge. This image was taken during the middle of winter, when the days are short and the sun is low in the sky. The ridge casts a shadow, which meant that althoguh it was a sunny day, the sunlight hadn't reached the frost which still covered the ground. The frost is a sign that the weather was cold when this image was taken. The trees are without leaves, another indication that this image was taken during winter.
