Sign in Heath Road at the Staff and pedestrian entrance to Chester Zoological Gardens. Frequently mistaken for the main entrance by Satnav devices as the postal address for the zoo is nearby Caughall Road. Under the notice board is a re-direction notice giving the post code for the main visitors' entrance about one kilometre to the north west of this location, in an adjoining grid square. Before the new entrance was opened, all visitors used this road to access the car parks entered the Zoo three hundred metres north east of here causing a great deal of traffic congestion on local roads.
