Heavy seas break over the pier wall. Unconcerned diners enjoy a meal outside the pier head kiosk. In the distance is the Thanet Wind Farm. The terms pier and jetty are used interchangeably here. Broadstairs harbour may refer to the protected area where the boats are moored.
