The memorial "cost £140 and was unveiled on 1 November 1919 by Mr JC Williams, Lord Lieutenant of the County. It is a four-sided granite obelisk with surrounding fencing. On one face is listed the service personnel from the area who died in WW1. On two further sides are the Rolls of Honour naming those who served and survived WW.
