This handsome Irish gentry house, built in the 1820's, was the former home of the Bond family. The interior still evokes the family's Edwardian taste and interests. It is virtually unchanged since the 1990's. Inside the house, a unique working cabinet barrel organ of 1824 can be seen during organised tours. The house is surrounded by its 320 acre estate. The site contains a splendid garden, woodland and riverside walks with wonderful views. Also, the popular Lady Ada's Tea Room, children's adventure playground and a second hand book shop. Events such as craft fairs, walks and family days are held during the open season. The house is now owned by The National Trust.
