This enormous warehouse was situated adjacent to Bolton station. It continued in use, albeit only partial, until the 1980s. The site has now been redeveloped for light industrial use and the railway's boundary fence is now (2008) approximately on the line of the track in the very right hand bottom corner of the picture.
