This metal milepost is one of possibly five that still remain by the roadside. It has been painted recently. It is set into the low wall just south of the traffic island junction with Kings Road. It may date from around 1838 when the 'new' road to Otley was constructed. Grade II listed - 1253387 Milestone Society ID - YW_LEOT06
