The present Village Hall was built in 1965; it incorporates the original Reading Room given to the village in 1947 by Mr Townsend. It is held in trust to be used as a Village Hall by the people of Metheringham and the surrounding area. It has been extended twice since 1965, the latest in 2003 with the addition of an entrance hall, ramp, disabled toilet and storage room. The car park is off Middle Street.
