The architects were the partnership of George Arthur Fox and Henry Holtom of Dewsbury who won the prestigious competition to design Morley Town Hall following Morley’s attainment of borough status in 1885. The style is neoclassical and incorporating other styles. It was opened in 1895 and is Grade I listed.
