Owned by Wessex Water, this station, which is on the southern bank of Ivy Lake, presumably extracts water from the lake and pumps it to the nearby Image . The station receives electric power at 11 KV by buried cable. A notice here says "Blue green algae are present in this reservoir. Under certain circumstances they may produce a toxic scum. If you see scum, you and your pets should avoid contact with it and the water near it."
