Tower Drive in the Great Linford area of Milton Keynes, looking along a tree-lined residential road where a temporary roadworks sign marked ‘End’ stands beside the 30mph speed limit post. The summer foliage is dense, with a variety of deciduous trees including lime and sycamore providing deep green and bright yellowish tones under a partly cloudy sky. A motorcyclist and two cars are visible further along the road, one turning into a side street. Yellow double lines run along both kerbs, indicating parking restrictions, while an older, leaning road sign can be seen on the right near an overgrown verge. The mix of formal planting and naturalised grassland is typical of Milton Keynes’ landscaped estate roads.
