A mid 18th Century house, converted to a licensed pub called "The Kings Head" in 1806 , the name being changed c.1840 to "The Britannia". It was extended to the right c.1930, and closed in 1967 at the same time as "The Walnut Tree" opposite opened. The building was converted to domestic use in 1975 and is Grade II Listed.
