The local ‘connect’ service is a circular service through the western and southern estates of Hucknall, generally operating half-hourly in each direction. This bus is on the anticlockwise circle, shown as ‘green route’ in publicity, although not on the buses themselves. In years past, the various estates had through buses into Nottingham, generally at lower individual frequencies. At that time, for example, Beauvale estate, off to the right here, was not connected to the Ruffs area, both having separate terminating services. ‘Connect’ buses make good connections in the town centre with services to Nottingham, and terminate at the tram station.
