Great Malvern station was designed by Edmund Wallace Elmslie (1818-1899) for the Worcester and Hereford Railway in 1861-62. The metalwork is by William Forsyth (1833-1915). The station is grade II listed. The capital of every column supporting the platform canopies is decorated with wrought-iron foliage.
