Path and Footbridge, Dickens Heath Country Park

Dickens Heath Country Park is a small (18 hectares) Local Nature Reserve. It features meadow areas, an oak pasture, old and new ponds/wetland and mature hedgerows. It was designated as public open space in 2006 and as a Local Nature Reserve in 2010. Here the path crosses a connection between two ponds either side of the path. At the time of my visit the vegetation was so dense the ponds were barely visible, even from the viewing platform which can be seen in the image.
