The site of Hucknall Central station of the Great Central Railway. The railway ran in a cutting which has been filled in https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/8108052 with retail and business premises built on the infill. The standard blue brick parapet has been lowered on this side of the road, but would have looked like the remaining parapet on the opposite side https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/8108059 .
