By the side of Annick Road (B7081) on the outskirts of Irvine is a stone bearing the town's coat of arms. The arms were officially granted in 1927 https://www.heraldry-wiki.com/heraldrywiki/index.php?title=Irvine When this stone was erected I have been unable to ascertain.
