Riverside Lodge Hotel

Originally the Thistle Hotel, it was renamed Menzies Irvine Hotel Image and then Riverside Lodge Hotel. It is still part of Menzies Group of Hotels. The grounds in the foreground were originally a golf course. The path alongside is part of National Cycle Network Route 73 which goes from Kilmarnock via Irvine, Ardrossan, the ferry to Brodick, along the north-east coast of Arran to Lochranza and the ferry to Claonaig on Kintyre. This section follows the banks of Annick Water.
