Quite an oddity - a seemingly private postbox which has a (dated) Royal Mail collection notice, and requires a key to post items through. Assumed to be unused now. Just 10s of metres from another (public) letterbox outside 19 Banbury Road. Information on the Collection times reads: Collection Times Monday-Friday 1. 8am 2. 10am 3. 5:30pm Saturday 1. 8am 2. 10am [information about Bank holiday collections etc.] Royal Mail Customer Service Centre: OXFORD OX4 5HQ Telephone 0345 740740 This is Postbox No OX805. In case the above is useful in dating the postbox. Any further information appreciated.
