The view is from the accessible, upper part of the furnace to other buildings on the site. The facing building with two doorways was the iron ore store: it's roofed. Beyond it, roofless, is the large, main charcoal store; its far wall is well-buttressed internally against collapse. To the right of both of those buildings and partly hidden by a tree is the early charcoal store.
