We went for fish and chips at the harbour, and it didn't take long for this Herring Gull and his pal to come sidling through the guard rail with the sign on it telling us to to feed the gulls, clearly intent on grabbing some of our dinner. I am happy to say that they were unsuccessful, as bold gulls are becoming a nuisance in many places where they have taken to swooping down and snatching food from unsuspecting people's hands.
