Seen as a work in progress at https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/8091629, this is the completed work. Created by Rotterdam-based Nina Valkhoff, a muralist who has been painting murals for over 23 years, the mural forms part of the North Shields 'Elevation Mural Festival' which intends to transform the town into a vibrant open-air art gallery. The year 2025 is the 800th anniversary of the town.
