Just north of Manceteer Bridge [no 36] on the Coventry Canal. The large-scale OS map surveyed in 1886 shows a wharf here served by a tramway which came from quarries over a kilometre to the south-west. Later the tramway was extended to the Trent Valley railway line which probably caused the canal wharf to fall out of use. It is now used by the Rothen Group, who hire out workboats and carry out civil engineering on the inland waterways.
