A mosaic to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee of 2012 was laid in the Saxons Rest garden. The mosaic is made of coloured tiles and glass. It was designed by Cricklade Art Group members Ann Jelley and Ed Muir, and created by mosaic artists Debbie Stirling, Lucy Loquette and Yvette Green. It denotes the town crest with fritillaries - an important species found locally - and a Saxon design border.
