Built in the first decade of the 20th century as part of stabling facilities for the former Maresfield Park manor house which was located just over 100 yards to the south. The estate was confiscated from its German owner during World War One and broken up after with the former manor house demolished in 1924. These buildings survived though parts, probably the stabling, were demolished and the rest converted into residences. Coach House is the middle of the three between South and North Cottages. Shame the rather non-descripit garage partially obscures the architectural extravagance of what was originally a place to store horses, coaches and workers associated with them.
