The Drive, Maresfield

Currently a private road serving the Maresfield Park residential estate. Originally the route north from the village to Ashdown Forest via Lampool it was replaced sometime between 1824 and 1840 by the current Straight Half Mile road when the owners of Maresfield Park decided to reconfigure the roads in its vicinity. The road is currently Maresfield 59 Public Footpath.
