Shore at Ballyhalbert

Part of the rocky shore at Ballyhalbert. This is one of the few places I know locally where both Lesser and Great Black Backed Gulls can be seen fairly regularly. When this was taken I saw one of the lesser varieties but he was much too camera shy for my liking; pictured are herring gulls. In the distance, shipspotters, is the container vessel 'Vega Stockholm' en route from Belfast to Southampton.
