Gusto Italian (The Mitre)

Today this is an Italian restaurant, but this is an historic former inn. The origins of the building date back to the mid-13th century. In 1473 the Bishop of Lincoln donated the building to Lincoln College, when it became the Mitre Inn. Much of the building we see today dates from 1630.
