This bus stop on Salter Road is placed for access to the Russia Dock Woodland on both sides of the road. It is a linear park, created by Southwark Council in 1980 by the infilling of one of the former Surrey Commercial Docks. Russia Dock was originally used for importing softwood timber from Norway, Russia and Sweden.
