A fine mural decorates the gable end of the club building, depicting Private Paul Lowe. He was in the Black Watch and was one of three soldiers killed in a suicide attack in Iraq in 2004, when he was 19. https://funeral-notices.co.uk/notice/paul+lowe/3179283
