On its approach to Birmingham HS2 is taken up and over the existing lines east of New Street station, reaching the Curzon Street terminus on a series of viaducts. This may be Viaduct No 1. This view from the bottom of Northumberland Street gives some sense of the scale. A worker in orange hi-vis can be seen high up.
