The photo was taken from a point in Rossie Island Cemetery near the Scott/Duncan vault, and it views the large building to the west-northwest that was for many years the Montrose Bus Depot or Station. In recent times, the building has become one of the recent acquisitions of Montrose Port Authority (MPA) as it seeks to expand its storage capacity. Most people are familiar with seeing the building from the front on Rossie Island Road, as this runs close to the building and it is part of the busy A92 that links Aberdeen and Dundee along the coast. Few people see the building from the angle shown in the photo for obvious reasons.
