The small parade on the right was built in the 1960s to replace an older shop that had once been the bakery of Broad Oak Windmill which had been located behind the store on the left. The mill was built in 1842 and burnt down in 1890. On the left is a small but well stocked Budgens store which also contains the village Post Office.
