The house, numbered 55, was built in c. 1935 to a design by architect Oliver Hill as part of the proposed but largely unexecuted Frinton Park Estate. It is Grade II listed - https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1376783?section=official-list-entry
