The old Abbey House now serves as a Tourist Information Centre, it is surrounded by fine garden with the Historic Scotland Abbey Gardens to the rear and enclosed picnic area at the west gable. The old house, apart from helping inquisitive tourists, is an attraction in its own right and well worth a visit.
