The photograph on this page of Twenty years on! by David Medcalf as part of the Geograph project.
The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

See: https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5409 posted in April 2005 (taken in August 1999). My very first Geograph submission, a few weeks after the launch (and already over 5,000 photos posted). There are a lot of changes in a place that seems not to change at all! Houses rebuilt, houses extended, trees grown, trees disappeared, and more. Note the change in vegetation over a few months difference (March to August). Thanks to Geograph for inspiring twenty years of exploration of the UK.
