The wood is now owned by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough which has improved access since purchase was made in 2000. Not all the paths are formally designated as public rights of way, or necessarily as bridleways. This path is only shown as a minor path on the website http://www.heritagewoodsonline.co.uk/map/007/007a.html
