Many of these excellent signs have sprung up in Sheffield in the last couple of years. Topped by a clock and snippets of historical information, there is a map with a dotted line marked showing the five-minute walk radius. Above that, though, is a panoramic picture of the buildings you see in front of you, with directions to principal buildings and areas of town.
