Most of the retail units in this parade are currently unused, and as a sign of the changing demographics, one of the remaining shops is a Polish 'sklep' or store. It is difficult to understand the economics of why this parade of shops was ever built here in the first place because the location is right on the edge of the populated zone of North Greenford, with the whole area to the south being open countryside as far as Perivale.
