The long dry grass is on the low-lying, and presumably wet, land by the burn, which flows under the road bridge on the left. The white house above it is at Conland, and to the right. unnamed on the maps, is Conland Schoolhouse. This was an Episcopalian school and it was last in use as a school in the 1960s.
