Opened in the 1830s as the White Horse which it remained until its recent name change. Between 1868-74 it was actually two different establishments - listed as 30½ and 31. In 1868 the former was the White Horse, the latter The Bull; in 1871, 31 had become The Original White Horse; by 1874 the two had become a single entity again. The pub was extended in 1927.
