This building is the former Small Heath Lower School, which was built in 1892 as Waverley Road School by Martin and Chamberlain for the Birmingham School Board. It is a Grade II* listed building; see the listing at the Historic England site https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1211189?section=official-list-entry.
