"On the southern edge is a rather pretty pond with a large amount of Mallards." So reported the Woodland Trust in April 2013 https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/visiting-woods/woods/elmdon-coppice/ . In October 2024 the pond was scummy and eutrophicated, with not a water bird in sight. The wood is a Local Nature Reserve belonging to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
