Part of Mostyn Gardens. A Merton Borough parks & gardens page says "Mostyn Gardens is a park covering 4 hectares in the Merton Park ward. The land was once part of Merton Common, and was later the site of a brickworks before being laid out as a park in the 1930s." At one time there was a sunken garden here.
