Having returned to the National Rail Museum at Shildon in June 2024, LEV 1 is seen here in the Locomotion building. The railbus was manufactured at British Leyland's Workington factory in 1979. The railbus was tested in passenger service in East Anglia then exported to the USA in the early 1980s, returning to the National Rail Museum in York in 1987.
